Questly is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require account registration and we do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information.
The app stores the following data locally on your device to provide core functionality:
- Question interaction history, including swipe actions and timestamps
- Preference scores inferred from your interactions
- Seen question IDs
- Selected question pack
2. How We Use Information
Local app data is used to:
- Personalize question ordering and recommendations
- Restore your progress between sessions
- Keep the app experience consistent with your previous choices
3. Data Storage and Retention
- Data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage.
- We do not operate a backend service for syncing your in-app data.
- Data remains on your device until you reset app progress, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Because Questly currently does not transmit your in-app data to our servers, your in-app progress data is not shared by us with third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
Questly may rely on platform and framework components, such as Expo, React Native, app stores, and OS-level services, that can process technical data necessary to deliver the app environment. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Children's Privacy
Questly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
